Style of Yoga

 

Hot Yoga

A yoga exercise performed under hot and humid conditions. There are some forms of hot yoga:

 

  • Bikram (Wide know form of hot yoga, usually perform around 100 degrees Fahrenheit). 

  • Forrest Yoga (a spiritual exercise performed in a heated room).

  • Power Yoga

The practice of Hot Yoga brings vital balance and restores all systems to optimal health. This will allow the body to move deeper into postures to lessen the possibility of injury. Your body will feel cleansed and energized. 

Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.



Gentle Yoga

Appropriate for all students seeking the benefits of a very relaxing, gentle and restorative practice. Deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility, reduces pain and the effects of stress. 

 
Hatha

Hatha yoga is the branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. It is to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility.
